Our Hosts play an important role in our daily operations by being our “first and last impression”.They are responsible for greeting all guests with a personal style while demonstrating genuine hospitality and professionalism. They set the stage for an exceptional dining experience by making every guest feel welcome, accurately quoting wait times, seating Guests, and accommodating their needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary.
• Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
• Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
• Answering phone calls, taking reservations, and answering questions.
• Knowledge of the menu.
• Balances the guest flow among the service stations, taking into account requests for a particular table or server depending on availability
• Informs guests when tables are ready, escorts them to the table, provides menus, and introduces the server
• Assists with the duties of servers and bus persons as needed to maintain service effectiveness and efficiency
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings and weekends
• Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
• Does high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Restaurant experience is a plus.
